Luxury Hong Kong Hotels
Due to the fact that it is a huge metropolis and one of the biggest international business centers, Hong Kong is the place offering various type of accommodation, for all types of people. Most serious entrepreneurs and business owners that come to this place for various events prefer luxury Hong Kong hotels. They don’t see why they should stay in a cheaper and less facilitated hotel especially if they have what it takes to pay for a really high class all inclusive one. So if you can’t find a place to rub shoulders with rich and popular people, visit the city of Hong Kong.
However, don’t get me wrong. There is much more about Hong Kong luxury hotels than the glamour that you can see on TV and the glitz that you might had the chance to experience in various movies that were produced in that place. These hotels have a very slight and interesting combination of the ancient Chinese traditions and the modern British colonialism. It is a special type of culture that I guess most of the people are going to have a pretty great time discovering. If you are a business person who wants to experience something new, book a luxury room.
In this post I decided to share with you some of the most important hotels that have at least five stars and which are considered the best ones in the whole Hong Kong. I think that most of you will really enjoy them since in most of the cases I have doubts that everyone will be in the same position to afford them. However, who knows, if you are a businessman at the beginning of your way you will certainly have the chance to experience a totally new reality pretty time soon; and if this reality assumes making a luxury hotel reservation in Hong Kong, you need this.
Have you ever heard about the “Peninsula”? Let me tell you that I have a friend named Bob and he told me that if I ever plan to write an article about luxury hotels in Hong Kong I should always start with this amazing place. I have been to HK several times already, but I have a little bit different preferences when it comes to hotels and accommodation. However, my good old buddy Bob always liked “The Peninsula”. I read a lot of reviews and people seem to consider this one to be one of the world’s most classic hotels; it is an icon of Hong Kong hotels and travel.
To be honest, I like “Mandarin Oriental” more. The reasons are still unknown. However, when passing by I have this special feeling that makes me become more attracted to it. Have you ever had this feeling when booking a hotel room or making any kind of accommodation reservation? It is basically a cube shaped building which was built approximately 70 years ago. People that don’t really understand architecture might consider it pretty dominated by the surrounding skyscrapers. However, it is an amazing legend of Hong Kong luxury hotels.
I’ve stayed at the “Island Shangri-la” only once in my lifetime, but it was enough to make the necessary impression regarding its amazing location, all the luxury and prestigious shopping and entertainment centers. If you are looking for a place that has a balcony view towards the Harbour, you’ve got the place. It is a really fabulous place to stay if you are a fan of luxury and can afford something like this. However, I also had the chance to talk with various hotel experts and specialists who claim this particular hotel to be one of the best in the whole Asia.
Another amazing Hong Kong luxury hotel is the “Lang-ham Palace Hotel”. It is located in a great recently built tower just above the most active shopping zones called Mongkok. This is one those few five star exclusive hotels that I never had the chance to stay even a single night in. However, I know that this is just the beginning and that I’ll definitely have the chance to visit more of them pretty soon. This hotel is a palace well known for the first world class spa services that it provides and it very sought in the whole Asia-Pacific region. You should definitely try it!
The one that is my wife’s favorite among all Hong Kong luxury hotels is the “Intercontinental” one. This one is extremely famous for its fantastic location on the Tsim Sha Tsui’s water-front. I guess these guys are extremely lucky to be able to provide such accommodation options for their clients. If you are of those persons looking for unique places to accommodate, invest in your stay by reserving a room at “Intercontinental” where you will certainly have plenty of good views towards the Hong Kong skyline and the Victoria Harbor!
